AI-powered tool that will change the way you work ⋆ Most people would rather be more productive than happier ⋆ Humans are masters of creativity (for now)
Do you wish you had a personal assistant to help you be more productive and creative? Here are a few AI ones that do just that.
- AI-powered tool that will change the way you work
- Most people would rather be more productive than happier?
- Humans are masters of creativity (for now)
I'm speaking at WeaveSphere next week and I'm super excited and nervous. If you're around Toronto on Thursday, come say "Hi" 🙂
Thing 1 - AI-powered tool that will change the way you work
I kept you up to date with some important advances in AI (whisper, DALL-E, Alpha code, GitHub Copilot, robots with guns) over the year.
It's about time we put it at your fingertips.
Requirements
- can type
- know English
- have Internet connection
You have all 3? Good.
Bearly AI
Don't let the name distract you, this is the one that inspired this whole thing.
Consider Bearly your personal AI butler, always a Cmd+Shift+P away.
It has 15 tools, 14 are FREE.
But that's beside the point.
This. Is. Good.
I've discovered some fresh ideas and perspectives just by prompting Bearly. The "Counter Argument" tool had a lot to do with that. Even the general prompt does wonders.
Example
Me: Tell me about AI content generation
Bearly
Just try it yourself.
There's even a Chrome plugin to help with reading comprehension.
Playground AI
- Find art that's close to what you want to create
- Remix the prompt
- Download
Results are so good you're not going to believe it until you try it.
Example:
Stable diffusion (at 🤗)
If you're an artist and need some inspiration, you won't even need to log in to get some at Hugging Face.
Readwise reader
Many tools from Bearly made it into Reader as well. With the goal of research and understanding.
I'm not sure if this is available in the free version but with this link, you'll get a month of PRO for free, so you can see if it's worth it for you.
Reader is a big part of my workflow. I do 95% of my reading in it, do "memory jogs" with Readwise every day, and sync highlights and notes into Logseq, where I keep my notes.
Imagine every article you read boosted with
- highlights
- personal notes
- AI-generated backstory
- AI-generated summary
- AI-generated explanations of terms you didn't know
Bonus tip
To get better results with AI content generation: treat it as a Google search.
Thing 2 - Most people would rather be more productive than happier?
Headway ran a worldwide survey covering over a million of their users and that's one of the results I found surprising.
The results seem location-dependent and influenced by culture (in Spain, happiness is no 1). That makes it more interesting in some ways.
If "bite-sized learning for fun and easy growth" tickles your fancy, give the Headway app a go.

Thing 3 - Humans are masters of creativity (for now)
And Internet is a magical place.
3 collabs that will bring a smile to your face and make a Monday feel like weekend for those 2 min each.
Feeling good? Good. 🤗
Cheers, Zvonimir
