Oxford University scientists have pulled off a quantum teleportation breakthrough - not just teleporting quantum states, but full-on logical gates (the fundamental building blocks of computation).
This means separate quantum processors can now "talk" to each other as if they were one unified machine!
Why does this matter?
- Quantum scalability: Instead of stuffing millions of qubits into a single, massive, impractical machine, we can now connect smaller quantum processors into a modular supercomputer - making quantum computing more feasible and powerful.
